On Sunday Morning Detroit Lions Defensive Tackle Nick Fairley was arrested and charged with reckless driving, no proof of insurance, and having an open container of alcohol while driving. Initially, after being clocked at 100mph, Fairley did not pull over for Alabama State Troopers, however, when he eventually did he was visibly intoxicated. He was released around 9am after posting his $1750 bond, and he is the third Lion to be arrested since the start of the off season. Lions OT Johnny Culbreath, and RB Mikel Leshoure (arrested twice for marijuana possession) are the other two Lions to have been arrested since then with this also being Fairley’s second arrest in as many months (marijuana possession being the first offence).
