New Jersey Nets C Brooks Lopez returned to the court February 19th but the team was taking it slowly with the big man. The training wheels were expected to come off after the All-Star break, and that they did. Lopez logged a season high of of 36:14, albeit, it was only his third game of the season, but he responded with aggression – shooting 17 for 28 from the field for 38 points, 6 rebounds and an assist. The Nets also welcomed Gerald Green to the court, who was 2 for 3 from beyond the arc for 10 points (4 for 6 FGs).
