Yoenis Cespedes placed on 15-day DL

Oakland Athletics 26-year-old rookie center fielder, Yoenis Cespedes, has been placed on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to May 7th and the team has recalled Michael Taylor from Sacramento. Cespedes was an early scratch for tonight’s game against the Detroit Tigers with a strained muscle in the back of his left hand and hasn’t played since May 6 at Tampa Bay.
