Oakland Athletics CF Yoenis Cespedes made an impression in just his second MLB game, slugging a go-ahead 2-run home run in the bottom of the 7th to help the A’s even the series against the Mariners at 1-1. Although the Cuban power prospect is playing in the spacious Oakland Coliseum, his raw power should still be showcased. The concern with the 26-year-old is his ability to maintain a decent batting average. Cespedes batted 7th in the season opener and 6th in the second game of the season. At this rate he should land a spot closer to the middle of the lineup.
