NBA Fantasy Basketball - Who to Add?

2011-12 Archives - Dec 28 - Jan 3 - Jan 12 -  Feb 7 -
Randy Foye SG

It was confirmed on Tuesday that Chauncey Billups is out for the season with a torn left Achilles' tendon. Randy Foye will take over at shooting guard.
Jeremy Lin PG

It's probably too late, as 'Linsanity' has already started, but he's only owned in 55% of Y! leagues at the time this was written. So give the waiver wire a shot, he's poised to excel in Coach Mike D'Antoni's system as a pure pick-and-roll point guard.
Greivis Vasquez PG/SG
New Orleans Hornets
New Orleans Hornets
Greivis Vasquez is running the point while Jarrett Jack (knee) is out. He has been successful, logging double-digit scoring efforts in each of his last six games. He is also averaging 7.8 assists his last six. If things keep clipping along at this pace, Vasquez could move to SG when Jack returns.
Gordon Hayward SG/SF
Utah Jazz Logo
Utah Jazz
Along with Jeremy Lin, Gordon Hayward is also receiving a lot of attention. He is owned in just 31% of Y! leagues. In his last six games he is averaging 14.5 points and is contributing moderately in all statistical cateogories.
Linas Kleiza SF
Toronto Raptors Logo
Toronto Raptors
Linas Kleiza has been contributing mightily when given the minutes (in the absence of Andrea Bargnani). In his last three games he is averaging 20.7 points and is 9 for 16 beyond the arc. He doesn't offer much in other cateogories but his scoring pace is definitely useful in 12-team leagues. He's owned in just 4% of Y! leagues and could help many teams.

NBA Fantasy Basketball - Who to Drop?

Byron Mullens C

Byron Mullens was producing in double-double territory when he was getting the minutes, but the minutes have faded away along with his production. Bismack Biyombo is penciled in as the starter at center.
Chauncey Billups PG/SG
Los Angeles Clippers Logo
Los Angeles Clippers
Chauncey Billups is out for the season with a torn left Achilles' tendon. His career may be in jeopardy as he is turning 36-years-old this season. But, never doubt his resolve. Billups will aslo miss out on his dream of winning gold at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England.
